Had a beautiful luxury afternoon tea yesterday... with my granddaughter for a birthday treat... 1st time visit for us...beautiful food & fabulous staff... only complaint was ... we had to carry a box of residue cakes home on the train... Will definitely return..

Nipped in with my little boy for some soup. It was lovely, the staff where lovely and the place was lovely. Really enjoyed my food and so did my 3 year old :) would definitely return
Pleasant surroundings and friendly helpful staff, but have twice been disappointed with quality of Victoria sponge cake accompanying a pot of tea. Cake dry and stodgy with jam filling a mere scraping! Disappointing compared to similar cake available elsewhere in town.

Fabulous historic house that's been converted to a family run cafe. Lovely staff and all the food and cakes are home made. Large portions, lovely side salad and plenty of tea. I had a cafetiere of coffee and they even give you the choice of Java or Collumbian. Very busy lunch time. Beautiful and well worth a visit of you are in Beverley. 10 out of 10.
