There are tons of places for tutoring in Katy, but at Mr. Jan's you do not feel like a customer for them waiting to take your money. They truly care about every case, they really provide support based on every level and it is not just about passing worksheets for the kids to make. It is a human helping another human to understand the concepts in a kind, professional way. I would give them 6 stars if available.

We are extremely pleased parents having enrolled our daughter with Mr. Jan's Math Class. Mr. Jan is a very knowledgeable and experienced teacher and his cool and calm demeanor allows the kids to be relaxed with all the tensions and questions that they have in their mind that need to gel solved. My daughter was so stressed with her Geometry class in the 10th grade but after enrolling her with Mr. Jan, she is a totally different student. She is so confident and capable of facing up to the challenge. This would not have been possible without Mr. Jan and his team of professional staff. Helen, the administrative assistant is so cordial and supportive. Together, they all make you feel like we are all one big family with problems that can always be solved. Would I recommend them? Without a moments hesitation!!!!! Edgar
This place is getting worse by the day. They are unable to cope up with the standards of Sven Lakes High so the owner is yelling at the kids when they can’t make good grades on tests, at times demeaning them for being so dumb. Please don’t put your kids through this place.
Great atmosphere... love the 1 on tutoring .. highly recommend for anyone having trouble in math
My son was going to Mathnasium but he prefers Mr. Jan's math class. Also at Mathnasium my son can only stay for an hour. Hours are more accommodating here. Highly recommended.
