The best way to describe this place is visiting. Best sushi place I have ever had. The fish and other ingredients were fresh and on top quality. The waiter was very helpful in advising on which drinks might be suitable for our taste.
Great place to go see and be seen. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Better make a reservation though. Food was coming out quick, even though place was getting fuller and fuller. And it was fresh and good too! A bit pricey but that’s what you get when you’re right in the middle of it in Hollywood and LA. Watch out for valet parking though: we’ve paid 20 and they didn’t give us a ticket saying they will remember us. Then waiter asked us if we need to validate parking ticket, so only then we’ve realized we didn’t have one. Very weird.
I am so happy I came across this sushi restaurant. The nigiri and sushi rolls were delicious and nicely sized for the price. The salmon sake nigiri was so tasty and fresh as was the white lotus roll. My boyfriend and I also ordered two different skewers and loved them. We just wish they would have been a little bit bigger for the price!
Everything was SUPER incredibly delicious. We sampled the robata, which was excellent... it was all meat, save the cherry tomatoes (that were wrapped in bacon, so does that count?). Everything was cooked perfectly and the sauces complemented everything very well.
