I found exactly what I was looking for in self defence training at the Umbach Academy in Kassel. The trainers are exceptionally experienced and friendly. The training is intense and focused on realistic scenarios. I can recommend The Umbach Academy to anyone looking for solid instruction in self defence. Great place!

I come for BJJ and was looking for nice people to roll with. The level there is really high, most of them are competing, but everyone is really nice and caring so you don't get injured. The trainer is a _very_ experienced purple belt. Also they have a really nice family-like community. Worth every penny.
