Nice little traditional place to have lunch, especially if you arrive early for check-in to your Ryokan. Simple meals and drinks with English menu. I definitely recommend :) On the right side of the street pictured (coming from bus stop).

Check in to your hotel and then walk down to this cafe. The fruit tea latte is really good as is the coffee. You might have to wait a bit but it’s worth it.

Nice place tucked away in this cozy onsen area. Tasty items on the menu with a good variety of coffees, and locally brewed beer! One table outside if you have a dog.
It's a quaint little cafe with a cozy atmosphere. Both the food and coffee were good. It's right next to a gorgeous river, and it's a lovely place to stop by on a walk.
