I went there to buy fish and chips. Waited outside in the freezing cold because they only allowed 2 people inside due to Covid regulations. My opinion is there was enough space for 3. When one customer came out then I went in. Before I could place my order another customer waiting outside was called in because he had placed a telephone order. I was then asked to go back outside and wait in the cold again. The female customer still inside who had been the next one, in front of me had placed her order and she then offered to wait inside their cafe next door, so that I could go back inside. The lady in charge of serving told the female customer to stay there and I would have to wait. Another lady had been waiting in the cafe next door to keep warm and even when she came out and left to go home, nobody else was allowed to go into the cafe and wait out of the cold. I then decided to leave and try elsewhere. I will never go to either of Karl's chip shops ever again. They need to learn how to treat good paying customers. I have lived in Prestatyn for over 33 years and have never been treated so badly before by any retailer!

Really nice fish and chip shop with eat in. Nice and clean and very friendly staff. I had the small special which came with tea and bread and butter. I recommend.
This local chippy is by far the best in the area and serves consistently great tasting fish and chips. The portion sizes are also very good. The decor has changed very little in the last 20 years and could do with a refresh. The food itself is of a really good standard.
Ordered 3 fish dinners, waited 20 mins for them to make batter and fry them. Full of grease and falling apart. Used to be nice but won't be going there again. Waste of 20
