Karaweik Burmese Cuisine

What a tasty Burmese addition to the Marina! Tried some tasty curries (chicken, pumpkin shrimp) and soup. Great sauces and seasonings. Highlight is definitely the staff, extremely friendly and approachable with great recs across 2x visits. Great space as well with room for small and large parties. Small but mighty mix of solid beers (westphalia red, hazy). Pretty large portions which turned into a lunch the next day both visits. Definitely recommend and will be returning.

One of the best meals and experiences I’ve had in recent memory. The service was superb and the food was fantastic. I’ve been on the hunt for a legitimate paratha for years and finally found it here!

Delicious noodles, rice dishes and salads. I absolutely love their tea leaf sale and they also have several other salads that complement the other curry and rice dishes perfectly. Thank you Karaweik! So happy to have you in SF. :)

Wow- such a delicious dinner. If you do anything, get the coconut noodle soup & tea leaf salad. Amazing flavors- lovely night. Will be back as soon as I can!

This place is f'ing awesome - my favorite place in SF. The wait is long because its just that good. I suggested calling ahead and then getting a beer at the little cafe across the street. To make it better, the food is SOOO good and its not that expensive.
