Pretty amazing natural gem in Black Sea region. Longoz is wetlands and this is the largest in Turkey. If you are in this region, this is a definite must see. There are over 200 different plant and wild life species that are native to this region. I personally enjoyed the red water lilies. There are some facilities for food and soft drinks but we did not have any, so I can make recommendations on that. Also, you can rent a boat or all terrain vehicle to go deep into woods.

Wish I could rate it higher, but we drove over an hour to get there today and it's closed for renovation. There's a small picnic area, next to the parking lot, that's 55TL for a table and grill. The ground was terribly muddy and the small play area was unsuitable for use. This is also where you'll find a gozleme restaurant and small bungalows for rent. But, beware, the bungalows offer zero privacy. And, across the street's an open-air restaurant with kofte for 35TL. Unfortunately, that's all for now.
