Karamay Uyghur Cuisine

I would have given four stars to this place it it weren't for the bit expensive prices. I went to this place in September. It serves traditional Chinese food as said in their description. Let's start with hygiene as usual. I loved the place as far as hygiene is concerned. Everything looked extra clean. They even give you plastic cutlery which means you don't have to worcutleryit using spoons and forks that thousands of people use. As seen in the picture, the place was very cozy and simply, but beautifully decorated. It brings the traditional peaceful vibe to the place. They were playing soothing piano music which made the experience very enjoyable. I appreciate the fact that they care about the quality of their services as much as the quality of their food. Speaking of which, the food was good. Not the greatest, but good. I'd recommend the deep fried chilly chicken anytime. If you go there, make sure to try it. It was better than the other dish that I ordered which was beef rice I think. The second dish was just bland. Both dishes were a bit overpriced, I must say. I think that if they were a bit reasonably priced, this restaurant would be one of the best in Leicester. One thing to add, they make you pay for the plastic spoons and forks so... Also, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I have to give them this . It just feels good when the staff smiles at you when you enter a restaurant. They even give free appetizers which adds to the super nice quality service. The only downside here is the prices. All the other things are perfect. Hands down the best oriental dining experience in the Midlands... a unique family run business with a friendly atmosphere, FRESH food and authentic taste... The hand pulled noodles are amazing - found nowhere else! along with the best Lamb kebabs cooked on charcoal I have ever had! Highly recommended. 5*

Few my friends needed a quick bite to eat.I usually don't eat on london road. Wow the food was cooled well, full of flavour and hit the spot. Everyone thanked the chef for the food. Service was good too.

Went to enjoy a lovely evening with kids. Ordered kids chicken strip meal but the portion was so small. Seems like they cut one strip into tiny pieces. Then we received beef noodles. They tasted yummy but about 4 tiny pieces of beef in it. I don't think I would be going there again..

First time here. Went for a lunch service and it was quiet and we were given a warm and friendly service and the food served was very tasty. We had the fried dumplings, fried cumin beef, special signature noodles and the spicy chips. All of which were amazing with a decent portion size! Will definitely be back for more....
