My husband and I took a box of old children's clothes, as well as 2 bags of coats and such. The one bag was clear and it had rainproof jackets my husband had used for work which if you work at all, will get dirty. They were washed but the lady working there, I assume the owner, was VERY VERY rude! She must have saw those jackets when my husband brought them in and shouted at him to take them out and that she didn't want any dirty clothes in her store! She didn't even look at them first. The work jackets were the only thing that was stained with working. And anyone who is hard up but needs that kind of stuff to work, would have been grateful! She was so ignorant and rude. The other lady working there tried to smooth things over by coming outside and talking to us and looking thru the stuff and she took most of it back in! This owner needs to remember that people like us that give items...that WE paid for in the first place.....make her 100% profit to line her own pockets with! I can understand not wanting to take dirty things but she could have said it in a different and friendly way instead of acting so rudely! If life is that rough for her...RETIRE! No one wants to deal with miserable people like her anyways! She is lucky my husband didn't go back in and let her have it! I wanted him to but he knew he would lose it on her! She was lucky today but she may not be someday when she does this to the wrong person!

We enjoy going to connexions centre because you can find anything you are looking for.
One of the problems there is that it is too small and very difficult to get around.. the sizes of clothes are mixed up so hard to get to. Pluses is that the staff is very friendly and you can sometimes haggle the prices if you are buying more than one thing.
