The statue of Dr.B.R.Ambedkar, The Chairman of The Constitution Drafting Committee and first Law Minister of independent India is erected here in honour of his memory. This is a busy square near NAC Chowk and the beautiful statue of the great man stands on a pedestal in the middle. Memorial celebratory functions are held here on the birth and death anniversaries of Dr.Ambedkar and Republic Day etc .
