I LOVE Mean Mule! Their cocktail delivery kits are genius and their tequila is truly the best. The taste is amazing and it is so smooth. I like how they change out their cocktail kits frequently, and delivery them within a pretty large radius of downtown. Their prices are reasonable and the employees are so friendly. Highly recommend stopping by in person, or getting a cocktail kit delivered!

Friendly and welcoming service. Excellent cocktails. The Gold Fashioned and Mean Mule were wonderful. Note: if you get the Mule spicy, it brings the heat! Your lips will be burning, but it's still excellent. The prices for the cocktails is about what you'd expect. I will be back.
Used to come here a lot before COVID and I miss coming! The atmosphere is chill but elevated. They have cool, distinctive cocktails that tastes great. Also a fun vending machine with things like dry crickets.
I was in Kansas City for the 1st time for a few nights during an unfortunate series of events: polar vortex and my phone decided to die. My phone died early in the night at Mean Mule and the bartender on 2/9 was very sympathetic. I went on to some other bars early in the night searching for an android charger and couldn't find one. It was getting much colder (single digit Farenheit temps) and I couldn't get my phone charged. I went to 5 other bars and no one seemed to care after they couldn't find anyone on site with a USB-C charger and didn't offer any solutions. I ended up going out of my way to return to the only location where someone seemed to care and felt like I was about to have a mental breakdown in an unfamiliar city with no navigation. The bartender there called me a cab and refused to leave until the cab showed up. It might not seem like much but after going through no one caring and walking between multiple locations with no sympathy it felt fantastic to just get a cab and get home. Much appreciated. Give this woman a raise!
This American Agave Spirit is AMAZING! One of the best margaritas I've had (8 for silver) and the atmosphere is unique and transports you away from KC. I can't wait to go back and taste the rest of their creations!
