A experience! I just graduated from City Vision with a B.S. in Nonprofit Management, and it was a wonderful experience. Transferring my associate’s degree credits was easy, and I was able to finish my bachelor’s degree in just two years. The program is designed for working professionals and provides a great deal of flexibility. The staff and facility are always friendly, helpful, and responsive. As a nonprofit management professional for over 20 years, I was delighted that the classes were completely relevant to contemporary nonprofits without being over-simplified or easy. I felt challenged, and I strengthened my knowledge-base with each course. I wasn’t sure how personal of an experience an online program would be and was pleasantly surprised to be able to create friendships with my classmates and to feel a genuine connection to my instructors. The classes are interactive and use discussion boards so you can contribute each week according to your own schedule. I have to mention that City Vision is so affordable that I graduated debt-free!! I recommend City Vision for anyone in the nonprofit realm who is looking to further their education. You will grow personally and professionally.

City Vision University was instrumental in equipping me for full-time, Christian ministry. I found the curriculum to be challenging, with a good mix of theory and hands-on experience. The professors were professional and knowledgeable with years of experience in their respective fields. As an adult student, the format was perfectly suited for me to balance full-time employment and a young family while pursuing my degree. It was nice to have regular contact with other students, each providing their own unique perspective to the subject. On top of this, the cost of the program is extremely reasonable. I can’t recommend City Vision enough! Highly satisfied.
When I graduated high school I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life so I chose not to go to college. Years later when I was ready to pursue a degree I realized I would need to take on massive amounts of student loan debt in order to attend school (my wife went to a local school and still has over70,000 in debt). City Vision has been a Godsend and has provided me with a solid education in an accredited Addiction Studies program, with my entire tuition paid for by grants that they helped get me approved for. I like that it is a smaller online college and I have been able to take classes at my own pace, take a term off when needed, or take one class at a time. All of the professors have been great and are very qualified to teach their respective courses. Many of the staff members could easily be working in higher paying positions elsewhere but sacrifice those things in order to make City Vision possible for people who may be mission-minded but lack the resources to get a college degree. If you are interested in ministry work, non-profit management, or addiction counseling I highly recommend City Vision University.

The addiction studies curriculum was on point, and there is no doubt I finished with a practical Christian based education. I connected with people from different missions all over the country. The professors were top notch and helpful at all times. Not to mention, it is affordable and convenient. I highly recommend.
City Vision University represents a valuable resource to engage in an affordable, comprehensive, and accredited educational plan. I have been a student in their program in the mission of The Salvation Army and found it to be a great support with the flexibility I needed in my role. I recommend CVU highly for employees, staff, volunteers, clients, and especially SA Officers. You can remain in your academic program in the midst of changing addresses, schedules, or responsibilities. Perfect for people who want to upskill or complete unfinished degrees. Also great for personal and professional advancement.
