I just want to thank the Kannapolis Police Department. I am grateful for the services of the officers. I had a slight scare this evening, and an officer was sent out promptly and he arrived within mins. I felt bad for using resources if it turned out to be nothing but the officer reassured me that that is what they are here for. Turned out to be nothing, but the willingness and the reassurance made me feel safe and protected.

A month ago, I was visiting Kannapolis from Lake Norman. My police department and Sheriff's department are like family, I am a member a Civil Air Patrol and involved Police charities. These police from Northern Cabarrus are unbalanced. They should not be in the police department. It's obvious that they have issues from being in the military. I was falsely accused by some adolescents who were laughing at me and they were drinking alcohol. I was approached by two older men who did not identify themselves. It was dark and I did not know who these people were, I could not see their uniforms. One of the officers immediately became aggressive and belligerent. The officer threatened me to confess to something I did not do. I was shocked. I never was treated like this in my life. It was some kind of bazaaroworld. The officers never identified themselves. Kannapolis is a culture shock for me. I live within an upper-middle class, college-educated town. My neighbors are pleasant and civil. This is not the type of person in Kannapolis. The government workers have a real chip on their shoulders.

I called to give them the address to a known pos heroin dealers house. I got forwarded twice. Got a voice mail. I begged to please call me back and that I had very valuable information. NEVER GOT A CALL BACK WHAT A JOKE

I was stuck on the side of Saw Rd with a flat tire and 3 grandkids in the car. My hazard lights were on. An accident happened behind me. I contacted roadside assistance. Police responded to the accident. The officer came over to ask what he could do for me. He went back to the accident. He came back to me with a very unconcerned tone to tell me to move because he saw me almost get \creamed\ twice. Demanded I pull in a private driveway which required me to drive on my rim. When he was done with the accident he drove off. I thought if you were in an unsafe location they pull behind you with their lights on. Apparently not.
