We didn’t make any dinner reservation on Saturday night so got kicked out by several good restaurants consecutively. Luckily we got a table here in the end. All the food and drinks that we ordered were good! I usually can’t drink any alcohol but their century-old plum wine on the rock was so good! Don’t miss the dessert - wasanbon sugar pudding which was the best pudding that I ever had! They also provide a very detailed English menu! Good ambiance and with good jazz music. No-smoking area so we could fully enjoy the dinner without catching any stink. Just perfect! Highly recommend this place! BUT....do check the bill in detail before you pay.

Overpriced for what it is. The portions were small and not gastronomically exciting. The 500 yen appetiser/entry charge was not made known to us prior. Our bill turned out to be 2000 yen more than what we ordered on the menu and the waiter got frustrated with us when we questioned it. Overall a terrible experience. Definitely would not recommend - you could get so much more for your money elsewhere.
BAD EXPERIENCE!! Taste of the food was average and seriously not worth the price. Initial table appetizer charge was not made known from the beginning and was a hefty 500 (more than the price of the sake I had). Beware of the seasonal prices as they cost was more than the stipulated average price. A detailed bill was not presented at the end of the meal, so do ask and check when paying- although you may receive hostility from the staff. TLDR: not worth the price, and staff are not helpful, you are better off having a meal elsewhere.
First dishes took over 30 minutes to arrive and the otsoshi came after the first couple of dishes. After another hour some of the food still hadn't come. Decided to leave, waited 15 minutes for the bill which was just scrawled on a bit of paper. Dishes were nothing special and small and expensive.
Waited an hour for our food. Service was sloppy and dismissive. The food itself was average.
