*LOCALS ONLY. I was lucky that I got introduced to this authentic oden restaurant by a regular customer but I heard they don’t welcome non-locals or non-regular customer. Food was good and my favorite was Char-siu pork.

If you are not local people or Japanese, DON’T go. This is a tourist trap. My husband and me ordered about 6 small portion of Kanto foods along with 2 glasses of beer and 1 hot sake at a cost of over 8,600. The foods are ok and agree it’s authentic but don’t think it cost over 8000. My husband and I got lost as we feel we were being deceived by the owner who charged us a much higher cost than the local people.
Legendary Oden restaurant. They would not accept walk-in visit.You need book, but never regret.
One of the best Oden in Kanazawa, loved and frequented by local people. It is not a big restaurant but a small bistro, so check if there is enough space for your number of people. Need to speak some Japanese, but you can also point at with a finger. Don’t mistake it’s not a cheap fast food stand, but for local people to enjoy drinks and meals in an ambience. 安くは無い。けど、おでん絶品です。やはり此処。
If you come with a mixed group of foreigners and Japanese, you will not be admitted! They will only admit all foreigner or only Japanese (local foreigners included) groups. Read other reviews of foreigners being ripped off.
※2021/1/23現在、コロナ対応で県外客をお断り中。 ※人気店なので、訪問前に電話確認必須 スペシャリテ：焼き豚 常連のお客さんとそのお連れ様に対して手厚くサービスしたいという想いで営業しているので、一見さんをお断りしている。 名物の豪快な女将さんと仲良くなれると途端にフレンドリーで楽しいお店になる。金沢おでんで有名になったが、おばんざいの焼き豚がスペシャリテ。その辺のラーメン屋は殆ど勝てないぐらいに美味しい。 メニューによっては2名では食べきれないものもあるので、オーダー前に量の確認をすることをオススメします。
