Kintsuba, which is grilled red bean paste mixed with agar and wrapped in wheat/rice powers, is a specialty here in Kanazawa, and Nakataya is one of the best producers of kintsuba well known nationwide in Japan. They go amazingly well with green tea.
店内のディスプレイは綺麗にかわいらしく飾られていました。 店員さんをはじめ雰囲気がとても良い和菓子屋さんでした。
期日限定、元町店限定の能登大納言小豆餡が入った和風のシュークリーム購入。10時販売開始10時40分入店で残り少なくなったため数指定だった。（親戚に配る予定だったが配れなくなった）11時前の、次の人あたりでもう完売。「おどろよKINTSUBA」という歌がありますが、本当に踊りたくなる美味しさ。シュークリーム以外にロールケーキやチーズケーキも購入。
安定の中田屋さんです。 なかなか車でないと行けないので、その分、アントよりは空いていて、落ち着いてお買い物できます。
