We spent two great evenings there with delicious sushi plates and real Japanese hospitality. Truly recommend to visit this place, try the sashimi plate or the Chef's selection sushi plate, you will not regret it. Thank you Akame Sushi for the best sushi in our lives! (English menu was available.)

Excelent sushi bar. We had an amazing experience here, the restaurant is full of friendly local people. They prepare the sushi just in front of you and the menu is based on super fresh fish wich may vary depending on the season. Definetley it is worth a visit if you are in Kanazawa.
In this town, it is really difficult to find a restaurant which welcome foreigner tourists. We were so lucky to locate this restaurant with English menu. The service is excellent, same as the food. 4 aldults one kid had about 10 dishes with 1 small Sake bottle, total bill is about 11,000 JPY included tax and service charges. Fyi. We stayed in this town one night on a Saturday, we were somehow efused\ by at least 10 restaurants even we said we would wait (maybe they did not understand English)
Go try the Nigiris. Highly recommended
I think Akame Sushi is the local restaurant different from the department store restaurant, so you could enjoy the flavor of sea food and see how locals have their meals and the atmosphere of chatting.
