This place is a must see. Stop on your way to Lake Powell or Zions. It's like nothing I've ever seen, almost other-worldly. I dare say it's one of my favorite places on the planet that I have seen. The road is groomed and can be traveled by car, truck, UTV, etc. We rode our SxS down and explored the nearby trails and never saw another person. The story of the people who lived here is interesting and posted at the trail head. They have a cemetery that us well kept and bathrooms at the bottom of the road. As the sun sets, the rocks are particularly beautiful. Pictures just really don't do this place justice.

The road past historical marker is all dirt but was ok to drive with out four wheel drive. Found the cemetery. Scenery was amazing. The old western movie town is GONE. Burned down so dont look for it.
Pretty cool place BUT not really a ghost town , more of a nothing town, there were no remains of civilization ever being there other then the graveyard which looks like it has been rebuilt and restored. The scenery is to die for and the road out there was dirt but pretty good . If you do go out there be careful to not be out there during a flash flood , you will get stuck , even with a 4x4 you may find yourself in a bit of a bind . Also to get to the cemetery you need to cross dried wash basins and the inclines can be pretty severe.
