Would love to recommend this place to anyone. The food is cheap compared to the value offered. Genuine cuisine and soooo delicious. We could enjoy the food with lake view. Came twice in our 3-day stay here. Ms. Maruba is one of the most friendly people I have ever known. Love to come back again for sure.

It takes a long time to prepare the dishes. Insufficient rice, small rice cooker, insufficient cooker & cooks. Not capable for large group, at least not more than 9 pax. Reasonable price at Samosir or Medan. Most foods are very good, especialy Ikan Arsik (Batak wedding food), Napi Nadir, fish curry, & Grilled fish with sambal.

Very very good food and nice atmosphere. Friendly cheffin and waitresses. Original Batak cuisine but also Indonesian specialties. Nice view on Lake Toba from the open dinner place. Please note that some dishes need to be ordered in advance because of the long preparations but they are surely worth it.
