I had a nice carvery Sunday lunch, a well stacked 'small plate' for 7.90. I thought it was excellent food and good value. A larger plate option was available but most adults would be happy with a small plate. Friendly service

We had a great night there. The staff are friendly and helpful. It's safe and sticks to Covid-19 restrictions but that doesn't affect your enjoyment. The meal I had, roast duck, was second to none. We also saw a live music event in the marquee at the back. All safety precautions where in place and we had a great night.

Staff always courteous and pleasant. Good service. Food menu looks good, but never tried. Great drinks selection..

Popped in fo a pint one weekend afternoon a few summers ago. I was on on my tod and proppin up the bar but got chatting to a few of the locals either side of me, mainly about beer. Great location, friendly atmosphere and good beer (Wobbly Bob as i remember). It was good to read the article about the new owners wanting to keep running it as a pub. (Echo 01/02/21) I will defo call again as soon as it is open.

Great little pub Off the beaten path. Nice mix of real ales to choose from and before 5.00 pm they have happy hour prices during the week. Large upstairs deck with countryside views but not the weather for it on the day that we visited. Looks like they have some great food specials on steaks for early diners.
