This is the best Mexican food anywhere in the country. I have tried many, but none compare to Julio's Cafe Corona. Bold words, I know, but I'll drive 1900 miles from Florida and save my appetite to enjoy their food. I first experienced Julio's in about 2013. In El Paso for a business trip had me asking locals for their recommendations. Since then, I have always raved about the food here. I have tried many dishes. The steak is juicy and tender, sauces tasty, and the salsa is amazing! The restaurant is well appointed, but not formal enough to exclude solo diners or casual clothes. Service is wonderful as well. On my most recent visit, Carlos really took care of us.

Very good Tex Mex. Mario was our server and he was excellent! We stopped by for lunch. I ordered the chicken tortilla soup. It came deconstructed which I liked. The chicken stock was homemade and just perfect! When I'm back in El Paso I'll stop here again!
I was very disappointed at their service, we waited almost 40 minutes to get our lunch and there was other customers that got their meals first before us and they arrived later and a party of 4 before us, and when we did get our meal my husband plate was cold. We did speak to the manager and she apologized and would talk to the cook. She did offer for a dessert and we said no. I have been going there for years cause the food is good. Not sure if I will go there again.
Excellent food and service. I am only in town a couple weeks but will definitely be coming back.
The service is amazing. The stuff is professional and very friendly. I cannot explain how good the food is. I had soft tacos and tortillas soup there was amazing. I totally recommend it. The best tacos I refer had .
