I've been there twice now and it's been a pleasure both times. The friendly staff do a great job at setting the atmosphere and the antique decor with intricate wood working is pretty cool. I'd recommend trying the short rib and risotto; amazing. Both times there have been fun events across the beer garden to attend post meal. Probably one of the better restaurants in Western mass, look out Northampton, Holyoke is coming for you.

I popped by Judd's for the first time this past Thursday night and it happened to he Vinyl night. The atmosphere is really mellow and the music was fun. Dark lighting (which I love) and really interesting decor. Beautiful wood bar. It's a higher priced bar for Holyoke. It feels very much like a hip Northampton joint. The restaurant hasn't opened yet. I did have the tapenade and it was much more garlicky than olivey and I didn't care for it. Hopefully, they rework the recipe on that. They have a full bar with higher-end wines. You're looking at about 8 to 10 a glass. Beers are microbews. I'm definitely going to go back when the restaurant opens.

A wonderful, unexpected find!!! Highly recommend! Chef Vitek's menu is fresh, subtle, beautifully presented and delicious! Czech cuisine was not familiar to us, and yet the flavors are warm, inviting, aromatic and amazingly comforting and unique at the same time! Maro's deserts (and bartending skills/presence) are not to be missed, either! Lori (co-owner with Vitek) is a warm and welcoming presence, as is the personable, professional staff. The space will amaze you! Old World meets the new energy of the former Judd Paper Mill in the Gateway Arts center with handprinted murals, brick and beams that create a great dining atmosphere. Parking was easy, the vibe of the neighborhood was safe and vital. A great place to go for a fabulous evening out!
