Joy Cafe is AMAZING! Have loved going there for brunch and lunch for years now. Tried dinner there last night for the first time and I was blown away. The customer service was impeccable and we were able to try new things that would be updating on the menu. Josh's donuts for dessert were insanely good probably one of the best donuts I've ever had and just melted in your mouth. He needs to get back there in the kitchen cooking other things!! Regardless 15/10 experience and will recommend to everyone!!

Food and drinks were amazing! Long Island Coffee best drink hands down! If you're looking for chicken and waffles, this is the place. They have this hot sauce mix that has a great blance to the food. Small for seating but friendly atmosphere. Only down fall was we are in Covid and the cooks were not wearing masks, didn't notice until after meal. Will go back but hoping management starts to enforce masks for cooks.

You may have to wait for a table but let me tell you what...you forget about the wait as soon as you walk through the door! Not only is the staff amazing they greet you with a genuine smile and a sweet attitude! The food is amazing, the atmosphere is incredible and the owner is a gem! She came to our table to make sure everything was good and actually had a conversation with us! If you want fresh and delicious food with great service this is the place to go in Atlanta hands down!

Wow. I can’t even describe how amazing this place was but I’m going to try. Smooth, fast, and friendly service. Great drinks (highly recommend the Bloody Mary). FANTASTIC FOOD! I’m pretty sure with our whole party we ordered about half the menu and every dish was so tasty! If you are looking for recommendations then get anything with fried chicken, the avocado toast, or the shrimp and grits! Make sure to try their house hot sauce! Not to mention that the prices are a steal for the portion sizes and quality! They were also super accommodating! They went extra out of their way to help accommodate for our very large party size and took such good care of us. The owners are the sweetest married couple that came up to our table multiple times to make sure we loved our food (which we did)! You can tell that the serving staff is a family and that the owners truly care about them. Not to be dramatic but I honestly believe this was the best service experience I have ever had, from the hostess to the bartender to the chef! I am not from Atlanta but if I am every back in town I will most definitely make sure to make a stop at Joy’s Cafe again!

Nice cozy place to have brunch. Like others have mentioned already, there was a long wait so do be prepared for that. The food was delicious and service was great. I love how Joy and her husband are both at the restaurant, that just goes to show how much they really care for their business!
