5 stars for the food and wait staff. 3 stars to operations. Our food was very good and our waitress was great. The drinks and food came out all in good timing. However, we made a walk up reservation(only option for indoor seating) and we waited outside for the hour we were told. When we walked in the place was empty yet we only saw a party of 4 leave in the hour we waited. We walked through one area where 1 table out of the 2 were occupied and in our room there were 4 tables(one in each corner) and there was no one occupying any of the tables. They sure do take their time getting people in. It seems like they are putting more effort into the outdoor seating(tent or in garden) but for people wanting the indoor experience be prepared to wait.

Great food covid-19 has ruined the atmosphere. Staff were very attentive despite the restrictions in place. Service was very good.
Good food, great historical atmosphere. However, be aware that if you want to order the shrimp, the head is removed but little else is done before cooking. Shell was intact, legs remained, and they were not deveined, not a complaint just an FYI.
The food was amazing! We got the smothered and covered fries and the shepherds pie and both were delicious! We also had a brown ale and a Christmas one that were delicious! The place was beautiful and service lovely!
The food was ok. The prices were high for what you got. I have it 5 stars for the experience and for our waiter. He was amazing and extremely funny.
