I've had lessons with Jon now for quite a few years. We have covered a lot of styles and I really feel he has bought me on and certainly developed my confidence in playing. He is incredibly patient and always cheerful. Very highly recommended for all ages and abilities.

Although I only had lessons for 6 months with Jon (between January and June 2014) his guitar tuition and all round music guidance has been incredibly helpful for me as a guitar player. In that short space of time I passed my grade 6 guitar, reflecting his excellent teaching. He is a brilliant teacher and personable and patient all the time. I would highly recommend Jon for anyone looking for lessons.
Jon is a supreme professional able to teach to any guitar style. He is equally adept at teaching traditional music notation, tabs, chords or whatever works for you. He goes to great lengths to make sure the lessons just push you far enough. Jon has been my tutor for a couple of years during which time I have progressed enormously. Many thanks Jon!!
Have been learning from John for nearly a year now and I have seen vast improvements in my lead playing! Great teacher and very flexible in terms of offering a range of styles. Highly recommend to any guitarist looking to progress/ improve their style.
Jon is a fantastic guitar teacher. Whether you're interested in obtaining a qualification, giging, or learning to play a song for your own enjoyment. He will enable you to realise your dreams and be the best you can be with your chosen instrument. He has been my mentor for many years and I value his insight and knowledge.
