Today I was really disgusted on how a member of Jolly’s Omagh treated us. I cannot tell if he was the manager or not but there was six or seven customers congested at the tills with no member of staff offering help. We were standing there for about five minutes until another customer tried to grab the attention of this particular staff member when he started patronising the customers in the queue and telling them they were wrong to ask for service at the tills even though we were all waiting for ages. I’m not trying to be negative but all of us were shocked and confused on how a member of staff thinks it’s acceptable to talk to us like five year olds telling us we are wrong for wanting to purchase our items. During a pandemic, staff members of this shop should be allocating staff to ensure there is no congestion and no possible risk of transmission but it’s hard when a staff member refuses to ring a full line of customers items. I will not be visiting this store again because he shouldn’t be having this attitude in front of children and risking the health of elderly people in that queue by wanting us to stand all so close together.
Great job - staff are really helpful and pleasant. Plenty of concenient parking too!
