Tables were in the lovely open garden, nice atomosphere. We all enjoyed the delicious foods. The saussges in the kids' menu, were great as my children exclaimed about the huge size and juiciness. Burger was top quality.

Nice pub with a good atmosphere. Tasty home cooked food and a great beer garden on a sunny day. Well worth a visit.
Had a delightful meal today. Lovely little pub, which is dog friendly. We both had Beer Battered Cod & Chips and it was freshly cooked & came promptly. It was delicious, with the batter crispy and the fish soft and flaky. The chips were really good too, nice and chunky. The pub is quaint inside and the bar lady was very friendly. One small gripe is that there wasnt any background music playing, so it felt a little awkward to talk too loudly, as it is an echoey old building. That is the only thing I can think of as a negative. The pub has a nice big garden which would be amazing in summer. We will be back again.
Lovely snack of pork belly and cider apple sauce in focacia bread. Never seen that before. Topped off with a great pint of beer. What more could you ask for. Food here is very reasonably priced and a cut above usual pub grub. If you are nearby it's well worth a detour!
