Went with my friend for a quick catch up as it is close to my work. I had the full Scottish breakfast and a latte my friend had the smoked salmon bagel. Staff was welcoming and friendly. The Scottish breakfast was ok but didn't have any mushrooms, hash browns or potato scones. There was one black pudding to justify it's Scottish title. Sausages were not the best I had either. My friend said her bagel was ok still a bit pricey for what it was. All in all nice place for a quick bite a bit pricey for the quality of the food but there are lots of choices so I'll go back for an afternoon tea or try something else that might be better than what I had today.
Waitresses were friendly, but overall service needs to be improved. We had ordered 2 coffees, ice-cream and Belgian waffle. Coffees arrived after about 20 minutes, no sugar or sweetener either on the side of the plate or on the table. Waitress did not ask if we need any. Ice-cream arrived another half an hour later and my Belgian waffle never arrived.
Nice environment, tasty and interesting menu. Nice to get a choice of drinks with afternoon tea
Excellent staff with great customer service. Unfortunately the food was a let down. Brought my kids to have waffles and milkshakes but unfortunately the waffles were not freshly made but were bought from Costco. Sorry I was really disappointed but still gave 3 stars because if great service.
