Beautiful pub in the centre of Hungerford but the garden makes you feel like you're in the middle of the countryside. Fabulous friendly service and delicious decently priced food. Great selection of gin. Would recommend the ribs!! We'll be back. Thanks for the van assistance
Strongly recommend. Had dinner here last night with my partner. We had the sausage and mash, lamb kofta, and the inn's \best bitter\. This was certainly the best, most flavorful sausage and mash I've tasted in the UK, I even forgot about the salt and pepper until the end. The bitter was especially smooth and easy to drink, and i had to order another. Staff were friendly and the place had a great ambience. Bit of a shame we weren't staying in town for longer, and couldn't go back again.
Lovely afternoon spent under tipi tent. Staff were friendly, good choice of beers and ciders with tasty platters to nibble on. Highly recommend
