Got steak pie/potatoes with onion and bacon/ all ready for oven. Portion would feed 3 to 4 people. The favour of the steak pie is top quality. The potato dish equally tasty. John always has a wee chat when I go in to his shop. Will return often. Well done John and all staff.

After stumbling on this wee gem of a place, i live in southampton UK, I have had one of the best cuts of rib eye steak and some of the nicest food ( including a beautiful piece of cured beef ) in a long time, I’m assuming it was the man himself John Magee who serves me, and it was a delight to actually shop in his establishment, highly HIGHLY recommended if ever in the area.
