We used John for a pre-purchase inspection for a box in the Preston area and following purchasing the box decided to use him for some minor work that needed doing on the box despite him not being local to us (Leeds). The level of service and reliability was second to none and he was very was to deal with. Despite him not being local to us we’d be very tempted to use him again in the future. Highly recommend!

I rang these to see about a repair on my box. Said they were busy and ring back. Day after I rang again said they ring back in 20 mins. Never did. Maybe they only work on there own box's but should say that. Rather than be ignorate
Having recently had a 3.5 tonne van conversion made by John and his team at John Hillas Horseboxes, I cannot recommend them highly enough. Having done extensive research into on other 3.5 tonne-box makers on the market, for me, none matched the design, attention to detail and finish that John's boxes met. Competing and training up and down the UK, it is extremely important that my horses travel well and are as comfortable as possible. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble, the sales after-care is excellent and I would recommend to anyone wanting a horsebox made or repaired to contact John.
Can't rate this company highly enough. Attention to detail second to none, nothing too much trouble and John a pleasure to deal with. Takes real pride in each and every horsebox he produces and knows the business inside out. Thank you John for my fabulous 3.5t new build you are simply the best
Absolutely thrilled with my horse box which was built by John and his team from start to finish, I can't fault any of their work and always remain professional and happy to answer any questions from start to finish. They are always happy to help and go the extra mile. I will certainly be never going anywhere else for horse boxes or repairs. Thank you :)
