We ate an absolutely divine (and very abundant) Sunday roast, well worth popping in if you're in Lewes. Cosy old school pub atmosphere with great beers on tap and very friendly staff. Their covid practices were impeccable, with visors or masks all around and very careful about touching our glasses/good plates, which was very much appreciated. Thanks for the great meal!

I cannot lie, I'm actually in love with the Fish and Chips at the John Harvey Tavern! The food at this place is so amazing, it's the only place I will eat if I am in Lewes. Portion sizes are amazing, the ingredients are fresh. Covid Secure! P.S - I recommend the Baked Camembert!

Had a great time at Harvey's - they went out of their way to accommodate us (larger group of 6) when they were already busy. Great service, and very friendly! Would definitely recommend this pub. Hopefully we'll come again soon!! Thank you!

Small pub, quite standard food options. Sharers menu looked good. Tried the halloumi chilli infused beetroot salad, was a good salad and very filling. Couldn't taste the chilli but was still yummy. Standard prices like London for mains. Staff was ok.
