Excellent service received here today. They really do focus on your work and lifestyle needs to ensure you get the most out of your choice of eyewear. I was very appreciative for the help in choosing designs that I would suit. All round very friendly and professional service provided by all three members of staff the dealt with me today. Will definitely continue to use John Caulfied Opticians from here on in.

HUGE THANKS TO JOHN CAULFIELD (Optician in Lockerbie) John opened up his practice on Friday and treated me despite being closed due to covid 19, (even though I am not his customer)and was so reassuring, professional and considerate. He went more than the extra mile for me. He gave me his own mobile number in case there were any further problems, which was very considerate and made me feel safe. Saturday night 9.00 problems! I called him and he was as good as his word. He told me what to do to protect my eyesight whilst he phoned the hospital. (who later confirmed this was exactly right) He got me an appointment at A & E within minutes. It would have been so much more worrying without all his help and his efforts to protect my eyesight. Lazer treatment on Tuesday and hopefully it will be sorted. Cant thank him enough, I am so grateful it was him I called. It's TRUE........not all hero's wear capes. ps. Lazer treatment all done, and still John is at the end of a phone for me, answering my concerns.
I’ve been to many opticians over the years & this one is by far the best. So helpful with a relaxed atmosphere they listened to how you felt & what kind of glasses you were looking for without rushing or pushing you. I had a frame in mind which wasn’t in stock & this wasn’t a problem they ordered them in for me. Fantastic service that I highly recommend only wish I’d found them sooner.
