Visited for the first time today and was pleased to be able to buy some perennials of my choice. The bedding plants were few and they are currently potting up, so many are not ready yet for actual sale, but they have a few and worth a visit. It is safe to visit, all under control with handwipes as you go in and clear directions and a preference for card payment.

Rude and unwelcoming. Half the plants aren't for sale (it's a nursery, so this is understandable) and got shouted at for walking round an area that was easy enough to wander into but was marked as not sale from a different angle. Generally felt quite watched, too. Left as I felt like it was a bit of a minefield and not worth looking further. It's a real shame as the variety looks good and it's not a crowded place. I have a large border area to fill and tried to explain my needs to the staff member but they didn't seem to care or want to recommend anything. I felt like if I picked up one more plant I risked getting told off. Edit: in response to the question it was a female member of staff with blonde hair and I visited on the 15th of August. I completely understand that I was in the wrong and I apologized profusely but I really would have appreciated a lighter response and some assistance in making a purchase.

Great choice of plants . Really good value for money and the team there are happy to talk to you about gardening matters .
We always get good strong plants in healthy condition year after year.
