Visited for the first time recently, had the Jazz burger and a shrimp curry, and, well, it was an out-of-body experience. Super flavorful, intensely spicy. Food from the heart. The only great Thai food I've had since moving away from Bangkok. I'll be back often, can't wait to try the soft shell crab noodles and eventually the rest of the menu.

Incredible food. Take out today and felt like Thailand except I was eating in my car. BBQ chicken lunch combo. Will be back por supuesto

If you like spice, this is your spot. If you want flavor, this is your spot. If you want elegant...go somewhere else. Nothing pretentious, just real - good - food. I find it challenging to get unique flavors and spice from Thai restaurants, but Jitlada lived up to the hype. I had the Spicy 4 Cups and the Toong Yai Chicken. I didn't ask for extra hot, just wanted to get it how they make it, and I wouldn't change a thing! If you're in north LA, it's worth a stop!

thai food and the atmosphere here is very good. Super place to meet and chat with coworkers. Service is consistently good.

Unassuming yet tantalizing food awaits at this Michelin-rated strip mall spot. Even my dad (who isn’t prone to hyperbole) says that this is the best Thai restaurant he’s ever eaten at. Somehow they manage to get the spice level exactly right. It’s at the point where you can feel the heat and sweat a little, but it’s not over-the-top. Granted, they do have a spicy challenge and plenty of super spicy options, but there are safe bets as well. The Toong Soong noodles had nicely chewy egg noodles, fresh crisp veggies, and plenty of pork to make this a good meal for two. The Thai iced tea (4) is small with a lot of ice, but it helps you cool down and is nicely sweet. Prices are on the higher end, but I still think it’s worth it. They do accept credit cards and even Venmo! Parking is tough since it’s a small lot but there are some metered spots on the street. They’re currently open for takeout and delivery during covid (no dine-in, indoor or outdoor). I’m excited to come back next time to try something else on the extensive menu.
