Great old fashioned chip shop. It's cooked fresh so you might have to wait. If you want it when you get there ring and order it

Can’t comment on the actual food but was really disappointed with the COVID set up, we queued our side with others for a long time until it was clear that nobody was going in, so I asked what the situation was, only to find we had to order, when we did enquire we were told to wait for 1 hour, not quite set up for takeaway. Please do check and order before if expecting food to be ready on collection.

This is an excellent traditional chippy. Been several times over the years when staying locally. Never been disappointed. Cosy eat in space for about 16 people as well as great take away.
