Went with my son to celebrate his birthday. We have been there numerous times over the years and have always been impressed by both the service and the food, not this time. Our table was definitely not 2 meters from the next table, but that was the least of the problem. We were told to order on our phone via the app but couldn't get a signal(neither could the table next to us). When a waitress eventually arrived and we explained she then took our order. We were asked to pay straight away, strange!! She took my card away to use contactless, why not bring the machine to the table? Then returned it saying the till had run out of receipts but she 'promised it had gone through at the correct amount '!! Whilst waiting 25 minutes with no sign of either meals or drinks we witnessed another waitress being extremely loud and rude to several other customers. After my son went to the bar to ask where our order was it arrived. His was ok, but my lasagna was so shrivelled and dry it was practically inedible. There was no staff on the floor and at no time did any one come to ask if everything was ok. We left as soon as we could and will not be back . Also the menu was drastically reduced with very little choice. Very disappointing as this has always been one of our favourites in the past.

Great service and good quality food what more can you ask?
Went during the Eat out to help out offer. It was very busy and they were clearly struggling to handle the number of customers they had. Our food was all very late and other customers were having the same experience. I'm not holding that against them and I will go back in future when things are more settled in and we all know how to do sating out better in the new COVID secure world.
Lovely place.. staff very nice.. We go every other week for a catch up with mam and dad
