French cuisine and Chinese takeout in one restaurant! I have only tried the chinese food so far, which you can eat there or takeout. The food was really good, especially the pekin soup, and the owner is one of the friendliest people I have ever met. The 10 menu is plenty for lunch. I have yet to try their french food, but I talked to the restaurant owners and it seems to be only served in the evening, and they recommend reserving a table.

A top quality menu (predominantly French cuisine) from the first plate to the dessert, in a very simple and relax atmosphere (predominantly Chinese).

Atmosphere is incredibly cozy and the main owner is so friendly! He gives food generously and the Chinese food is solid!! Would come again for a good and filling meal with friends and family!

Unfortunately the owner of the place is rampantly racist. I overheard him telling some visiting Chinese kids “be aware of the Arabs and n-word, they are violent”. Not ok in this day and especially in Paris, where so many of the most beloved Parisians are Arabic/black.

The Chinese Tratteur Restaurant. These things are ubiquitous in Paris. I guess Parisians love their Chinese food. I know I do. You will see these in all parts of Paris and I think they talk to each other because they pretty much all have the exact same fare. In 99.9% of them, you walk in, select prepared food waiting behind a glass counter, pay, eat, and leave. You soon learn to only go to the ones in busy parts of town so you don't end up with food that was prepared days ago. But Jin Xin Lou is the 1%. A rare pearl in the Tratteur Restaurant world. The owner's son is a true french chef who actually studied with great chefs in Paris. What this means is that their normal Chinese pre-prepared fare is exceptionally good. But get this, they have a French Menu as well! I'm talking about gourmet French cuisine. ...and it's exquisite. So, a word to tourists... It's not near anything famous in Paris. There is absolutely NOTHING around that would interest you. What this means is that it's a hidden local treasure. If you are hunting for a place where only French people go for a great meal, this is it!
