So pleased with the new fitted unit and shelves. Very professional service, with plenty of advice and guidance. The consultation process was thorough with samples of materials to choose between, exchange of ideas and clear plans/graphics. The pieces were finished and fitted on schedule, and without any mess. I would not hesitate to recommend Jim to friends, family and colleagues, and would give him first refusal on any similar work. Absolutely delighted!

Just wanted to say how absolutely thrilled we are with our new shelving project. We have spent the last half an hour just gazing at it and planning what is going to go where. We have never seen or owned anything on this scale before in terms of quality and workmanship. I am sure we don't need to tell you this but it really is beautifully crafted and visually stunning. We are excited to arrange our books and special pieces but are going to take our time and enjoy it. Thank you to Jo for sorting things out for us also and linking everything up. Ian and Lesley Mooney
Jim has recently made us some more custom made cabinets for our study after designing and making some for us 7 years previously. From the first (re) contact the service from Jim (and Jo) has been first class. During the delays of lockdown in 2020, we were always kept informed regularly of timescales despite circumstances being out of Jim’s hands! The custom made cabinets are exactly what we wanted and met the original brief perfectly.
We got just what we wanted! Arriving at a design we loved for our under-stairs storage was helped enormously by the very professional drawings Jim had drawn up as we refined the idea. Everything happened when Jim said it would and the result is great! When we started using it, we realised we wanted a couple of internal shelves, which Jim then added. Really really pleased!
We have used Jim Sharples Furniture over the years for 3 different projects. His workmanship is amazing and will always give you a well designed beautiful piece that’s built to last. Jim and his team are friendly, professional and great to work with. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a bespoke handmade item. Jim has provided us with: - Large kitchen island and refurbishment of original kitchen units - Under stair storage cupboards - Entrance Hall twin cabinets
