I went to Jewel of the crown with a friend for lunch. We both choose to do the buffet. The buffet was well laid out and presented. I tried everything they had, it was all excellent.

Food was delicious. Ambience was good and music was soothing. But the drinks not so much... mango lassi was too sweet while Chennai express lacked the punch of tamarind. Don’t go by the size of container the dishes are reasonably adequate portions.
A JEWEL INDEED, AND ONE WELL WORTH FINDING, JUST A LITTLE SOUTHEAST OF THE HUSTLE AND BUSTLE OF OLD TOWN SCOTTSDALE. THIS CHARMING SPOT IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE RESTAURANTS IN THE OLD TOWN AREA. THE SERVICE IS GREAT, AND THEIR FOOD IS DELECTABLE. THEY MAKE SOME OF THE BEST LENTIL SOUP I'VE EVER TASTED, AND THE LAMB KARAHI CURRY IS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! TAKE A FRIEND, AND SHARE THE EXPERIENCE! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
This restaurant is absolutely one of the finest place in the neighborhood. Every time I visit this place I am profoundly pleased. They maintain their very high standard service and the highest level of meals they provide. You definitely will enjoy this this place. Highly recommended.
Decent Indian cuisine but I've had better in Tempe. Service was very quick and the server was very kind. I didn't like that the urinal was exactly next to the sink without any separation.
