Typical Israeli food. Los of flavors and choices. My favorite place in Jerusalem! Usually busy but you can get a table also when dropping by.
This resturaunt seems to me an Iraqi cousin. I ordered first dish of Kobe matfini (I think?) Soup, was good. The place is in Jerusalem and is built cozy with small rooms with ancient look. Before the main dish, tahini, Humos, tabola and some spicy salads were served along with meat Kobe and grape leaves rolled with rice, very tasty with Ferna bread. The main dish included some Jerusalem blend meat, kebab, young chicken and rice with potato. The service was very good and juices were served. Overall luxury experience with humble dishes.
It is the best place in áll Jerusalem. Kosher, tasty, good prices, pleasent waitresses. The best kitchen in Jerusalem. I'll be Back!!!
Recommended by a friend who visited this place before. Dishes appear to have Iraqi influence which was a nice food adventure as I expected. Service was good, wait time was long, yet the seating was good enough so I could enjoy.
Wish I had taken pics here. The food was one of the best we have tasted in over 10 days from the south of Israel to the north. Simple but delicious. The Balkan eggplant was to die for and that's me trying to find a tasty eggplant dish for the last 10 days. Ordered the mixed grill and it was tender and juicy. Wife ordered the chicken soffrito and was tender and tasty. Highly recommend and our young waiter who lived in New Jersey when he was young was amazing.
