Great selection of wines. However the lady and gentleman who work there are two of the grumpiest souls in Muswell Hill. My first experience there, I put down to them having a bad day. My second experience would be my last. And when wife called in recently she came back saying “ I see what you mean about those two!” I won’t go back again. You’d be much better off heading over to Majestic when it reopens. The guys there are knowledgeable, keen and friendly with great recommendations!
I googled the names of the \customers\ leaving five star reviews here. Incredibly, five of the five star reviews on Google are from Jeroboams own staff. Fake (and desperate) marketing at its worst.
Not impressed. I can get over the prices - I expect them to charge a premium. However, when I’m genuinely asking for advice I feel aggrieved to be palmed off with a bottle that isn’t good, and that the shop are probably just trying to clear. My wine knowledge isn’t deep so I rely on recommendations in good faith - today lost.
Great local wine merchant. Outstanding selection of wine, beer and spirits with knowledgeable and friendly staff. You can't ask for much more than that!
