We love their waitress Carmen! She is fantastic especially with kids. We are return guests. When in Jena we must stop by this restaurant. Highly recommended. Everything in their menu is so good. Try the dumplings with wild meat. And they are so decently priced!

500 year old restaurant, the food and service was quite good
Had a great traditional German meal whilst working in Jena. Great quality food, and a great selection of drinks. The atmosphere was very friendly, and the locals made conversation when they realised we were from abroad. A fantastic experience of a historic German guest house. Will definitely return if I visit Jena again
