Delightful little shop. Took my son for a treat, was hoping for waffles which they dont do, but had lots of other treats in store. Good service. Lovely
This hidden gem is an absolute delight. Such lovely staff, gorgeous food and gentle atmosphere. Have been back a few times and always pleased. Vintage and storybook themed tearoom including Alice in Wonderland, Winnie the Pooh and others. Visually stimulating... always something to catch your eye and tempt. I only wish I lived closer.
The food was ok and the staff were nice but the owner was really something else. We booked over two weeks in advance and ordered an afternoon tea, we thought we booked one which had sandwiches, scone and a cake but instead got told it was just sandwiches and a scone and that we were not allowed to buy cake as it was just too busy. There were only 6 sets of people in? The prices on the boards didn't match the ones online and we were told we had to pay the more expensive price, which was shocking. Our drinks (two cups of tea, a coffee and a Coke) also arrived 10 minutes after our food so we had already finnished the sandwiches. I would not recommend a visit unless the owner isn't there or she changes her attitude.
