One of the best interactive museum! Kongernes Jelling is not a traditional archaeological museum, but one that makes archaeology accessible as a continuous and active process. UNESCO World Heritage listed Jelling, with its rune stones and burial mounds, is one of the most important cultural-historical sites in Denmark.

A really cool and Well presented place. The museum is really good and informative in an interactive way, it's not huge but big enough. Also Free. The rune stone's are in cases which is a shame but understandable. Really good gift shop and a nice cafe.
This is the coolest interactive museum I’ve seen! A for the creative team who visualised the storey telling. The shop and cake/coffee was great as well!
Very modern and well organized Viking Museum. Free entrance and free parking. The personnel are very friendly and welcoming. Lots of interactive displays and look out place from the roof. Good gift shop and cafe.
This place is a very special place for Denmark and I am very proud to be able to present it to people from other countries. The museum had interactive displays both interesting for adults and children. A giant palisade wall and the whole area was just one big exhibition. If you wanna experience danish history this is definitely a great place to visit. I can highly recommend it to anyone wondering about visiting it.
This museum is absolutely amazing, by far one of the best I've ever been too! I highly recommend stopping here if you are interested in Vikings.
A very good museum explaining the Danish history, including everything with vikings, nordic mythology, danish kings and more. Good environment and everything is explained neatly so even a 5 year old could understand it, and at the same time detailed enough for adults to also be entertained. Entrance is luckily free, and you can go visit the Jelling stones nearby for free as well after the museum. The museum also offers a cafe, which unfortunately was sold out at my time of visit, but that just says something about the quality there. All in all, great place
Excellent interactive museum explaining this magnificent Viking site. Lots to do for kids. The site itself is well laid out to give a true perspective of its size, and the churchyard (where the runic stones are kept) is beautifully kept. Free entry and free parking very close too.
