We had a fantastic meal here. The food was fresh and tasty, ingredients were of good quality. The staff are very attentive and the portions we found to be generous (and especially compared to “similar” restaurants around). The music wasn’t overbearing either. We will definitely be back again and again! This will be our go-to Indian restaurant. Thank you Alex and team!

We had a lovely time here at Jehan. It's our usual takeaway but they were really thoughtful after lockdown and social distancing. Delicious food as always and remember to bring your Cobra or Kingfisher and the staff will give you a glass for your booze. Great attentive staff.
Not sure if we have just had this on an off day or too close to all the bank holidays, but genuinely dont understand the positive reviews from our experience. Maybe this is more an eat in kind of place, which unfortunately was not an option ofc. We ordered around 80 worth of food on 2nd Jan. I cant say anything nice about any of it unfortunately. Curry tasted old- the tikka masala was horribly sweet, unlike any I've ever had before. None of the curries were remotely spicy and it seemed the same sauce had been used in a lot of them. Bland, tasteless food. Bhajis were so disappointing- again had obviously been cooked a long time ago and reheated in a microwave- tough and greasy. Samosas frozen tiny ones, not fresh or hand made. We also ordered kebabs but they didnt arrive- probably best. These were refunded but even then, when calling to report this missing item, there was a bit of resistance to refunding it and I was asked am I sure it's missing as the bag has been checked. Didnt like the implication that I would lie about a missing item over a fiver on such an expensive order. Overall, terrible experience and we will not be ordering from here again. I'd encourage everyone to order from Pink Garlic which is lovely. I regret changing from my usual trusted Indian in Brentwood.
