According to all my friends who have a pair, these boots are very comfortable; however, for months now I have been trying to buy a pair from the factory in J-Bay, but they apparently do not want my money. I placed the order, and was assured the boots would be ready in 3 weeks. I called 4 weeks later, but they had forgotten about me. The owner (boss/manager/whoever) said he'd call me back, but then he never did. I tried again once every 2 weeks for the next 3 or 4 MONTHS, and every time the same woman told me that my order is scheduled, and that someone would call me back, but nobody ever calls me back. Last Thursday I called once more, spoke to the same woman, and was told the same thing: my order should be done by now, and someone will call me in the next couple days. Of course, once again, nobody has called. I first placed my order in March (I think). It is now August, and nothing. These look like great boots, and I would love to have a pair of the grey suede with black leather fronts, but I told the woman last Thursday that I would not call again. as much as I'd like a pair. In-Step has ignored me, so I guess I'll find some other comfortable boot to wear in the winter. As a common, polite, and friendly paying customer, who is simply trying to buy a pair of boots, it is frustrating and insulting to be completely ignored... not even a phone call. I even offered to pre-pay when I first placed the order, but they assured me that prepaying is unnecessary, and that my boots would be ready very soon - Thank God I didn't do that!

I love the product, I love the service. If you're traveling past Jeffrey's Bay, or on the N2, be sure to get your sandals for the next year sorted. Also one of my favorite gifts as a souvenir. I live in my sandals.

We visit this shop a lot, beautiful leather shoes, purses, as well as a good range of Crocs in stock. The manager always give personal attention, and service. Very good prices and specials available. We almost feel like family there already.
