Ate here last night with a small group of friends to celebrate a birthday. The food and drinks were quite good, but what really stood out was the service. It was impeccable, the energy and attentiveness of this entire group as a staff is truly noteworthy and elevated our experience by a significant amount. Great job to all involved! Thank you for helping us make it a special night :)

We spent the evening with Jax in LoDo with Jose, and it was absolutely lovely. The service was great, the food was INCREDIBLE, and most importantly in February; the outdoor dining tent was warm! Surface level, the tent is not “ideal” but Jose’s warm welcome and the space heaters really made our Valentine’s even quite lovely. Of course, we had oysters to start, and they did not disappoint. For the main course, I had the Valentine’s Day special, tuna poke and my bf had the Hawaiian seared tuna, and both were incredible. We will be coming back to enjoy the oysters again!
Came in 9n a Saturday night for my birthday. We had a nice booth with a view of the aquarium (which is super healthy, full of beautiful coral and fish so kudos to the person who maintains it). One of our servers, Steven, was in training under another fellow, Fred (I believe). They were both a delight, attentive without hovering, social and funny, and really seemed to enjoy their job and being helpful. On to the food, we had a sampler with really tasty and fresh oyster, shrimp, and so much crab. All of it was fresh and tasty! Our sandwiches came out next - if you like collard greens, definitely don't miss Jax's greens! The lobster roll was STUFFED with lobster, which again was fantastic. Being my birthday, we were given some dessert options on the house and picked the key lime pie. It did not disappoint. Creamy, tangy, tasty! The crisp crumbles on top were fantastic too. During this time, I was surprised with a card personally noted and signed by all the workers - too cute! We finished off with espresso and a martini- also great. This was some of the best service we've received in any restaurant, I cannot wait to go back. Thank you to Jax and our awesome servers for making this a really memorable dinner.
Wow, this restaurant will never disappoint. Their entire staff is just so knowledgeable and friendly. Jax delivers everything you expect from a restaurant and more, whether you’re there for a casual good dinner or a special occasion. Our server tonight was Noah, he was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and wine menu, super nice and his customer service skills were top notch. Thanks to Jax and their staff for making our dining experience once again, impeccable!
Pre-pandemic this was my go-to date night/special event destination. We are always treated well and the staff are very good at handling my boyfriend’s allergies. During the pandemic we’ve been doing take out and the process is super easy, staff friendly, and you can tell they’re taking the necessary precautions to not spread covid. The food travelled well and was delicious! I love this place and can’t wait to sit at the bar soon.
