Beautiful and wonderful small local restaurant - serving immaculate seafood. Delightful staff and wonderful chef/owner. A happy mistaken find - that in hindsight I would have been very sad to have missed. Come away from the touristy marina restaurants and eat here if you want quality and excellent seafood (I had seafood bisque - utterly delicious!). Also a great selection of local gins and local tonic too. Thanks for a wonderful lunch.

Mostly 5 stars, so we booked. And by golly were we pleased. At the moment phone to book. The food is cooked freshly, by the chef/owner. Very light, Mediterranean style cooking - no chips! Recommend you only come if you appreciate fresh food, well cooked. It felt that we were having a private dining experience, along with the other diners. Will be returning - often Amble is very lucky to have this little gem. Worth travelling for, so do so!
Had an amazing evening. The food was some of the finest we have had since moving to Northumberland. The service was fantastic and the ambiance and decor was great. Could not recommend this restaurant enough and hope to see their Morpeth restaurant up and running as soon as possible.
Small restaurant with a lovely atmosphere, delicious food, especially if you like fish. Excellent seafood selection. Friendly, helpful staff. Will definitely be returning.
Not sure if the usual Chef was on and in these difficult times don't particularly want to add to any challenges these businesses face but this really wasn't what it should have been, hopefully a glitch. And a strange door wide open policy which really isn't necessary, partly open would be fine, though l note an earlier review on smell of cooking oil so perhaps it is partly due to that.
